Meg is a Nationally Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach working with women to serve their hormonal health in the many stages of life. She is a Certified Integrative Nutrition Coach practicing with an Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size™ approach. In addition to these, Meg is also certified in Lifestyle Medicine, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Weight Loss Specialist, and Certified Culinary Coach. In addition to this Meg is pursuing the Integrative Functional Nutrition Credential to become a credentialed practitioner. Meg focuses on helping her clients to re-learn how to eat unrestricted and without the practices we have been taught by diet rhetoric and society.
Meg holds a Masters Degree in Counseling and has previously served her community as a therapist. Through her training in mental health, nutrition, and fitness she has developed a specialized technique for integrating the emotional aspects surrounding food with more basic ideas of nutrition. She uses Intuitive Eating techniques and believes that food is to be both enjoyed and serve your body. Ideal nutrition is different for everyone, and Meg takes the time to work with individuals to find the best methods and habits that serve the individual. In her work with clients, Meg likes to serve in a supportive role; insuring that the client is always in control of their outcomes. She serves as a guide and support person as they navigate how to best serve themselves.
Using a goal-oriented approach, deeply founded in practices using her therapy background, Meg helps her clients to create a sustainable plan as they work to achieve their overarching goal(s). She uses S.M.A.R.T. Goals and Cognitive Behavioral Coaching (CBC) practices to set her clients up for success.
